Pat Apt
Block prints, Etchings, and Paintings in Oil

About the Artist:
Pat Apt is a printmaker and painter.
When the opportunity presented itself in the early nineties, I left Maine and came to Mexico in order to pursue my art full time. Since then I have devoted myself to making Block prints, Etchings, and Paintings in Oil. A portion of my work that is close to my heart is the series of Social Justice Prints, some of them very large, looking at the issues of homelessness, income inequality, immigration and war. Some of these prints are as much as 36” x 60”. As for the paintings, they include plein aire landscapes, as well as local scenes and a goodly amount of fantasy and humor (I hope).
